I have not started Nursing school yet, but I have a lot of friends who have told me ALL about it. I'm gonna say this, it will not be easy, but it'll all be worth it in the long run. I'm still taking my prerequisite courses and I'm already worn out by them. I can only imagine what Nursing school will bring. I know on my first day that I'm going to be really excited.

1. You already know how incredibly exhausting it will be

2. Then there's information that is piled up all over your room that you need to know in 3 days

3. But sometimes in class, you don't know what is going on

4. Sometimes the stress gets too real and you can't control your emotions

5. There are times when you pull an all-nighter just to study for a test on all that information piled up on your dresser

6. Then on test day, you sometimes can't remember what you studied

7. Your friends ask you if you did well on your test and this is your automatic response

8. Sometimes you just want to stay in bed and watch tv...

9. ...then there are the days when you just need a hug

10. But, once it's all said and done, you'll be saving lives

11. And on graduation day, you realize that the stress was all worth it

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
