It's amazing what little things in life can turn into the big things or how they can make a big difference.

It could be something a simple as a cup of tea shared with a loved one, or three little words that can change your life.

Maybe it's a laugh or inside joke that can brighten the rest of your day and week. When you think about that little moment, it is now seared into your memory and you can't help but smile each and every time it replays in your mind.

The little things are stories shared that keep us hopeful and looking forward to making more memories in the future

It's everyday occurrences that become moments.

In 2017, I want to take full advantage of every single moment that comes my way. Whether that means being a listener instead of a talker, putting down the phone, or just stopping for a second to breathe, I'm going to do it.

I don't want to miss out on the little moments, that unknowingly at the time, can become the big things in life.

I'm not going to waste a single second living in the past. I'm done with that.

In the same token, I will look forward to the future, but I will not allow myself to become blinded by the future that I miss out on the present.
