If there is one thing I am truly in love with, it is "The Office." Its quirky and awkward moments show what life is all about. This show also has its own way of displaying life lessons that apply to everyone. Sometimes you just need to take a moment and reevaluate life and what it is truly about. "The Office" helps tremendously with the reevaluation part.

1. Life's too short, don't take everything so seriously

Life can be stressful all on its own, so why not lighten up a little bit and have a good laugh here and there. Don't be too critical of yourself, do what makes you smile and life will get better.

2. Don't sweat the little things. If it won't matter a year from now well...

Those little fallouts, the overwhelming assignment that you submitted but are not too sure about, the rude person you ran into in the store—yes, at the moment these things may seem stressful and the most important issues to attend too, but honestly, think about it a year from now. Will you be really stuck on that rude person you ran into to the store? Stanley gets that there are many irrelevant things that are not worth worrying about. I strive to not sweat the little things like Stanley does.

3. Sometimes you need to just express your feelings

It's not good to keep things bottled up inside. Sometimes you may offend someone, but at the end of the day, you just need to express yourself to get through life itself. So go ahead and just let it all out.

4. Be sure to always tell your loved ones how much they mean to you

Your loved ones will be there for you through thick and thin. Remind them that you love and appreciate their existence. I mean, who else is going to sit around listening to you rant about life and be able to give you some good and genuine advice?

5. Life is happening, so don't forget to be grateful

On that note, be grateful for life itself. Yes, sometimes it may seem that there are more cons than pros and life may be flipped upside down at times, but remember one day you will miss these days and wish you would have taken the time to appreciate them once they are gone

6. Never give up

One life lesson for sure noted from this show was to never give up. Jim and Pam's relationship was a hard one to watch at first, but Jim never gave up. Plus, in all honesty, we didn't want him giving up either.

7. Be confident always

Michael Scott showed us time and time again that confidence is key. Be confident in yourself and do not let others bring you down. You have worked long and hard to get where you are today, so why not stay fierce like Beyonce or Michael Scott?

8. It's ok to be selfish sometimes and say no

Don't let people make you feel like a bad person when you say no. Sometimes enough is enough and you have to put yourself first. It's your life, so don't worry about what others have to say. They aren't paying your bills anyway.

9. Your vibe attracts your tribe

Good vibes, good tribe. Be sure to attract friends that will have your back and be there for you no matter what. Don't worry about toxic people, and remember quality over quantity.

10. Be yourself

If Michael and Dwight have taught us anything, it is that it's way more important and fun to be yourself than to be someone you most definitely are not.

Life is crazy and will throw things at you when you least expect it. Many times it's hard to keep going and lift yourself back up to get through it all, but remember, as Michael Scott would say, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
