People don't just randomly burst out in song, sometimes the boy doesn't always get the girl, or it isn't a happily ever after romantic ending — a little pessimistic but, its true. There is a common theme to theme/model our lives after famous people or people who seem to have it all on the daily.
With all the social media taking hold of the world, it is a lot easier to connect with people and see what they're doing on a daily basis. There is a false sense of happiness and the thought that some people are living in a movie. In actuality, people only put out into the world what they want other people to see. No one is going to want people to see them crying or failing a math test. But people want to put out when they go out to a restaurant and when they're finally doing something fun.
Take college kids, for example, a handful of them are just sitting in their dorm room from day to day not doing anything. But when they go to a party or do something interesting, it graces their social media. Life isn't all that extravagant for average/most people. You can make it seem like you've been doing a lot when in actuality you haven't.
There is a big want to impress people with what we are doing or what we have done. Why can't we eat the delicious looking food without having to take a picture of it first? Why does every aspect of our lives have to be publicly shown? We should begin to do things in our lives for ourselves and not for other people. Everyone lives their own life, and nothing is ever as it seems.
