Everyone knows the saying but it is true, life is short. Life is so short that you need to go out and have a little fun. Be adventurous and just put yourself out there. There are so many things that I have done that I would have never thought of if I didn't simply learn that life is short. So here are some things that life is too short to pass by.

1. Tattoos

I have always loved tattoos but I was always afraid to get one. One day my Dad was talking to my brother, who is a tattoo artist, and asked him to do a tattoo on him the next day. I was like hey I am going to tag along and that day I got my first tattoo a little Mickey on my right shoulder. After that I got the coordinates to Cinderella's castle under the Mickey, a semicolon on my left wrist, a cat on my right forearm and now I am working on a half sleeve on my left forearm. Everyone of my tattoos have a meaning and I love looking at them and being reminded that they are meaningful to me. Now I am not saying to just get a tattoo to get it but there is something meaningful that you have been wanting to get then go get it.

3. Move Away From Home For A Bit

I have always lived in or around Jeannette, PA all of my life. Seton Hill is actually only 15 minutes from my house so even staying in a dorm wasn't that hard. When I got to live my dream of working at Walt Disney World I got to experience living away from home and it was amazing. It was so fun to finally be on my own and seeing everything that I got to. I am glad to be going back because being away from home helps me cope with what will happen when I graduate from college and move away for good.

4. Make Friends From All Over The World

While on my Disney College Program I met my amazing friend Elly who is from Australia. I also made friends with a girl from France and girls from Spain. I still keep in touch with them and I love seeing on Facebook what adventure life has for them next. Having friends from all over is an amazing experience because you learn the different cultures from them.

5. Travel The World

On May 14th for the first time in my life I am going out of the country. I am studying abroad to Dublin and London. I have always wanted travel and this was the right time. I think everyone should go and explore the world before we have to settle down and work.

Living your life to the fullest is a goal that many have. The question is how will you go and live your life?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
