"All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better." — Ralph Waldo Emerson.
This quote is saying to live life to the fullest, never back down on an opportunity that could change your life and always take risks. I have lived by constantly saying that my life is one big experiment. This saying is small but powerful when it comes to the meaning because that is how everyone should live life
. We all should ensure that we successfully live life to the fullest potential possible. Doing this will ensure that when we age, we will not be wishing that we had done something that was not done as a child. And if I had to sum up my life, it would be with these following adventures.
One of my favorite stories that a friend told me about her life experiences was when she tried sushi. Her parents had taken her to a restaurant and they ordered a few pieces of sushi. When the sushi arrived, they told her to try it. Putting one piece of sushi in her mouth caused her to spit it out of her mouth within five seconds. She described it as tasting like the aftertaste of throw-up. She hated it sothe sushi
much that she never tried it again. However, even though she did not like it, she knows
that in the future, she will not
regret trying it again.
Living life to the fullest is often hard for people because it puts so much pressure on the life itself
. People often believe that they will do the work tomorrow, but in reality, it is as if tomorrow never comes because there would be no point in living today to the fullest. One other experience that I could never forget is the story of my sister riding a horse.
My sister riding a full-grown horse was a hilarious story. For most people, riding a stinky horse is not all right
, but for her, it was probably the greatest thing ever. Riding the brown and white colored horse reminded her of the piggyback rides our dad gave us when we were small, she would say. She rode the horse down a trail; the trail
had beautiful sites. At the end of the green trail, there was a small blue lake. While the horse drank some water from the lake, S
he took my riding boots off and dipped her feet into the clear, ice-cold water. It felt amazing she sang
. After a few minutes, S
he put my riding boots on, and we rode back to the ranch. When she got home, she went inside and took a nice cold shower so that she did not smell like a pig. It took her five times to wash her rotten clothes until she could get the awful stench out. In the end, we only got the full story because her friend told us. She said she was never going to tell us about this and forbade us from talking about it again.
Life is one big experiment. One cannot simply always be on the safe side because it would cause them to miss out of other aspects. It will cause them to truly miss the opportunity they were presented with. I believe that life is full of hurdles; one has to jump across one to get to the next one. Vivian Greene once said, "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about dancing in the rain." And I believe dancing under the rain!
