Some rules I live every day to be my best, happiest self.
1. Always find something positive in any situation
In any negative situation, there is always something positive you can pull out of it. Once you look around, it is not hard to find all the reasons to be grateful. It is so much better to focus on these reasons then to stress about the negatives in life.
2. Be hopeful
If things aren't so great now, stay hopeful that they will get better in the future. Try to see the best in every situation.
3. Trust the process
Sometimes it is really difficult to understand why certain things are happening in our lives. There's the saying "why do bad things happen to good people?" Honestly, no one knows. But everything happens for a reason and maybe if you're given a tough situation it's because you're strong enough to handle it.
4. Wake up everyday with a positive attitude
We all have our bad days, but there is no reason to wake up the next day and not have a better one. Living life being negative is a waste. So go into every day determined to make it a good one.
5. Set your goals high
Having goals for yourself is very important, but these goals should be challenging. Give your best everyday and know that it is okay to fail.
6. Never tell yourself that you "can't" do something
Telling yourself this is just limiting your abilities. If you don't believe in yourself, then who will? Always tell yourself that you can do it, positive encouragement can go a long way. You are capable. You are amazing. You can do anything.
