Let's just throw it out there, life in your 20's is kind of a mess. You're still trying to figure yourself out and what the hell you plan on doing with the rest of your life. It involves a lot of risk-taking and making mistakes. If you're in your early 20s like me, you're still selfish and can't even imagine taking care of a kid, because you can barely take care of yourself. Life is really just a gamble at this point. So, who better to describe life in your 20s better than your favorite Broad City gals Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler.

1. You would do just about anything for money now

By this point, you've probably thought or joked about doing unspeakable things for cash. Whether it's taking a cleaning job at the gym like Abbi or dancing on a train like Ilana, anything is possible. You want to feel like you can support yourself because you're an adult now. So when you're a little low on that dough, you get super creative and/or standards drop for jobs. We've all been there. To all my readers balling on a budget, it can only go up from here...hopefully.

2. But the minute you get a paycheck you act like you've got mad bills to blow.

It's like the minute you get that check deposited into your account it's game over. Everything you see in Target becomes a necessity and no one can stop you on your spending rampage. You're explaining to your roommate why this fake cheetah statue you bought just felt right and would really bring character into the house.

3. You communicate better through memes and gifs

Let's be real, you have probably had full-on conversations using only memes and gifs. A simple "I miss you" doesn't really do it anymore when you can have Will Ferrell fake crying and spilling a wine glass on himself as it reads "I miss you." It adds emotion and life to the conversation. Don't kid yourself, we all have let hours slip away when we were suppose to be working while laughing at memes or sending gifs to friends.

4. The hangovers are starting to get worse, but that doesn't stop you

It's almost like going out and drinking has become a chore because the hangovers are so rough. Your best friend is Pedialyte and Advil. You've gone out multiple times on a last minute whim, only to really questioned your outfit choices later on. But you're still at the age when every now and then you're indecisive about going out, only to hear your friend say, "you're only young once!" ...then you're sold.

5. The uncomfortable run-ins with past hookups

If you weren't able to swerve and run, now comes time for the awkward encounter. You fake catch up and ask how they are doing...like you care. Honestly, you probably still do care but they're in the past. Now all the memories flood into your head until you remember the reason it didn't work out.

6. You start to lose patience for people quicker

We can't get along with everyone right? There comes a time and place when everyone explodes. Whether it's an ex, roommate, old friend or even the rude person standing in line in front of you...someone always manages to get you at your worst. You've dealt with enough bullsh*t at this point and the minute someone crosses you, they better watch out.

7. It is getting really hard to tell someone's age

With girls knowing how to do a full face of makeup and guys hitting that bench press so young now, it's getting hard to tell age. One moment, you're checking out a guy and the next thing you know he tells you he's a senior in high school...boy bye. It's really become a challenge to judge age because at this point you assume everyone is either your age, an infant or senile.

8. Your life probably looks cooler on social media

Honestly, who doesn't love a good Instagram, but in reality but that picture of you sipping a mountain high drink overflowing with candy and diabetes, probably isn't as tasty as it looks. Our world revolves around social media and image. We're all guilty of wasting a few too many hours trying to make our Insta account look artsy and inviting. Quit worrying about your likes and live your life not just "for the 'gram."

9. You start to get comfortable asking personal questions to confirm it's normal

It's the best when people sneak these questions into conversations for a confirmation, but also so the group can have a good laugh. It's the best being so open with your friends to double check you're not crazy or dying, ya know. You text your bestie at 2 a.m. to make sure it's normal to be in your feels and questioning every single one of your life choices, and no you're not losing your mind. It's okay to have a quarter-life crisis.

10. Someone has most likely asked if you have any kids

You can't take care of yourself, let alone an infant at the moment. The thought of it freaks you out a bit and makes you feel like your years to find a soulmate are slowly dwindling. But, how dare someone assume you have your life together and a child right? You'd like a few more years to focus on yourself or your career.

11. You use ridiculous slang

You're still cool. You're still hip. You're down with the lingo. You say things to your friends that might not even sound like English, but they get you. The best part about being in your 20s is being up-to-date with the latest trends and speech. Who would have ever thought 'weak sauce' or 'yowza' would be added to the dictionary.

12. You have your ride or die, that you don't know what you'd do without her

We all have that one friend, that we have no idea how we'd get through life without. There the person you do everything with and everyone knows you two as a package deal. You have too many funny memories and embarrassing stories to count. You challenge one another, but also life each other up. This person just makes life a little better.

Well, here's to your crazy 20s. Live your best life, make poor choices and take time for yourself. These are the years of learning, growth, and discovery. Make the most of it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
