Dear Brothers,
If you are reading this letter, it means we are brothers or your curious about my time in Alpha Phi Omega. When I started school, I wasn't sure where I belonged. I had the roommate from hell and didn't know anyone on campus (even though most people I went to high school with were there). I knew I wouldn't fit in with a sorority (I tried Spring Recruitment one year, and it didn't work out well) which is ok, because not everyone is cut off to be in one.
Once I was inducted into the fraternity, I felt like I had a home there. I made some really great friends, who over time, have been there fore me when i needed them the most. They became my family. I was given a Big who, while we didn't have anything in common, guided me through the pledging process and stuck up for me when needed.

Since being in my chapter, I have been able to extend my family by having three littles of my own. My littles have become my best friends and I will forever be thankful for them. They have been there for me when I needed them, but have let me be there for them in return. I was even lucky to have an amazing grand-little. Even though my family line ended when I left, these people will always my best friends and family.

APO gave me opportunities and experiences I wouldn't have been able to have had I not joined. In addition to making friends within my own chapter, I have made friends with brothers in other chapters.
