On your graduation day, I want to say that I am so proud of the man you have become in the last four years.
When you left for college, I knew that you would have an impact on someone's life. That someone could be anyone. You impacted my life, your siblings lives, your new coworkers and your new friends. You grew as a person, blossoming into the most confident person I have ever been blessed to know. After one year at Ferris, you were shining with this glow that only college could give you. And on your graduation day, I want to say that you are a new man, and I can not believe you've become this man.
When I first met you, I called you my blonde ray of sunshine. You were always happy and I knew that your positivity would be contagious as you went through university life. You never fail to be the best version of yourself and the way you've blossomed is just an amazing thing. Being able to witness your transformation, your happiness, has been an honor.
Although I won't be at your graduation ceremony, I will be cheering you on. There is no where I'd rather be than by your side during this, but circumstances keep me away. I am proud of you and all of your accomplishments. You've been the best role model as you've maintained good grades and a job all four years. You will be the best police officer there is and I hope you never have to pull me over.
As a friend, congratulations. As an ex-girlfriend, congratulations.
I am beyond excited for you to close this chapter in your life and open the next.
