I know that I'm not the only one who feels the rush of passion with every step that is taken into the barn.

To my one true love,

I've spent weeks trying to find the right words to say to you. I've been searching for the right way to thank you for all that you continue to do for me. You have been in my life for quite some time now and to be honest, it was love at first sight. After all of this time, I think I have finally found the words to say to explain how I feel.

First off, thank you for showing me that I have the capability to be so passionate and love with all of my heart. You have instilled a burning passion inside of me and for that, I am forever grateful.I can't say I remember the first time I felt a large amount of love for you, but I know that each day I continue to grow my passion for you and I know that without you I would not be complete. You simply make an impact on my life by shaping me into the person that I should be.

You put a smile on my face that cannot quite be explained. It takes about five seconds and just like that I'm in my comfort zone; I'm right at home and nothing else in the world matters. With you, I find my peace of mind and the world is complete. I have always been good at keeping myself content, but you have helped me reach a level of happiness that I never thought was achievable.

I was once was a shy girl who wouldn't say much, but as I have grown up with you in my life I have begun to let my passion be shown to others. Every chance that I get to talk about you, I take the opportunity to let others know just how much a difference you have made in my life. You continue to make me step out of the box and somehow bring me to endless opportunities that will forever alter who I am.

Now, I know that you don't just tug on my heart but instead, you tug on the hearts of many people just like me. I don't get to have you all to myself and as weird as it sounds, I'm okay with sharing you with a lot of other people.

I know that I'm not the only one who feels the rush of passion with every step that is taken into the barn. I know that I'm not the only one who lights up when it's chore time or when there are newborns on the ground. I know that I'm not the only one who can't pass up the opportunity to talk about the endless experiences that I have been gone through while riding in a truck and trailer all over the country. I know that I'm not the only who feels the combination of happiness and nerves right before entering the show ring. I know I'm not the only one who enjoys making memories during one-of-a-kind experiences with new friends from all over the country. I know that I'm not the only one who loves being a part of something so much greater than themselves. I know for certain that I am not the only one whose one true love is you, so here's to you, the livestock industry, for being the love of my life.

Love always,

Your biggest admirer since day one

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
