An Open Letter To My Future Husband

Just knowing that you're out there, and on your way to me... that's all I need.

It's kinda funny to think you're out there right now. Maybe you have a girlfriend that you think is the one, maybe you're on the other side of the country, maybe you're debating whether or not that new haircut was the right choice, and maybe, just maybe, you're thinking about me. It's fine if you're not, but I guess I can't help but hope that every now and then you think of your "dream girl" and someone like me pops into your head... because someone like you tends to pop into mine.

I hope that right now, no matter what you're going through, that you recognize how it's slowly changing you for the better. Whether you notice or not, you are growing into the man that I'm gonna fall in love with one day. Everything you're going through, and everything I'm going through, is just leading us to each other. The good, the bad, and everything in between is all gonna be worth it in the end; I'm sure of it.

Now, what do I ask from you? It's quite simple actually. Get ready. Get ready to be loved deeply and appreciated fully. Get ready to hear about my day, about my hopes and dreams, and for me to ask you about yours. I hope you're prepared to see me smile every time I see you, or think about you. My loyalty will never waiver, and I expect nothing but the same from you. Together, we're going to have the most amazing life; filled with late-night talks and blasting music as we drive down the highway. We'll adventure; see the world together. But we'll also have plenty of lazy Sundays together on the couch watching football. For now, I'll wait, because I know it'll be worth it. You will be worth it.

Life can get tough. Just knowing that you're out there, and on your way to me helps. Knowing that everything that's gone wrong, and everything that's soon to go right, is all leading me to you... that's all I need.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
