To My Older Sisters, Thank You For Your Constant Love And Support

To my older sisters,

I know that we all got on each other’s nerves growing up. I especially know that I ignited too many fights and arguments as the youngest. I want to apologize for always crashing your hangouts, sleepovers, team bondings, etc.

Truth be told, I just wanted to be like you guys. I looked up to you and your friends, and I wanted to be in on all the fun. I know you got annoyed with mom constantly begging you to include me (just as I know mom got annoyed with my complaints of being left out), and I want to thank you for being patient with my constant pestering. I also need to thank you for the countless times I stole your clothes when I simply could have asked to borrow something.

I know that a lot of responsibility was placed on both of you early on — from having to babysit, get us home from the bus safely, and drive me around to practices — thank you. I realized as I grew older that you both had to make more sacrifices of your time in order to help mom and dad get us all to our after-school activities. You both rarely ever complained, and I’m not sure if I would have been so compliant.

Thank you for all you’ve done for me growing up, and thank you for being my best friends now.

I know we always jokingly insult one another, but I really could not have better siblings in my life. You both show drive and determination in all you do, which has influenced me to always work towards my goals, no matter how difficult it may be. I am so grateful to be able to look up to the both of you. Time and time again, you have shown me how to properly manage school, work, social life, and extracurriculars.

Even when I stretch myself too thin, you are both there to offer help and support. You have both helped me so much throughout life, and even when I pushed you away, you would always come back to me. Thank you for all the insightful advice, the inside jokes, and the ugly selfies.

I cannot begin to imagine my life without you in it.

I know I do not say it enough, so, thank you. I love you.

Lots of love,

Your baby sister.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
