A Letter To My Best Friend Who’s Getting Married

YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED! This is one of the biggest days of your life, and as one of your best friends, this is one of the biggest days in my life too.

I am so proud of the woman you have become and of the wife that you’re going to be! Your fiancée is one lucky guy, and I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding. It’s finally time to make all those Pinterest boards that you’ve been saving come to life!

From planning what we were going to wear out on weekends during our college shenanigans, to now shopping for wedding dresses! This is such a joyous time in your life, and I hope

you appreciate every single moment of it. These many months of planning are going to fly by, but I promise you it's going to be worth every minute of the blood, sweat, tears, and stress that goes into it. You're spending the rest of your life with an amazing guy, and I'm so excited to see what's in store for you both in the future.

Now, next to your daddy and your momma, I will probably (if not, definitely) be the most emotional person at the wedding, so I can’t wait to put waterproof mascara to the ultimate test. I am so blessed to be able to be a part of this day for you and your future husband. You are a one in a million type of girl, and words can’t describe how much you mean to me.

I am so excited to spend this day with you two and celebrate your love for one another. I love how happy you make one another, and how you always bring out the best in each other. You both light up like a christmas tree when you talk about each other, and personally, I couldn't pick out anyone more perfect for the both of you! You two are each other’s lobster, after all. ;)

All in all, Ty, you mean the absolute world to me. We've been through so much together, and I've never seen you more happy than when you've been with Dalton. When you told me you were getting married, I cried, so I can't wait to see how many tears actually happen on the day of the wedding. I am so unbelievably happy for both of you, and I am so grateful for being able to be apart of this day. I can't thank you enough for letting me stand up in this wedding! I love you both, and from this day on, not only will I always be there for you, but for your husband too. This day is all about you and Dalton, and celebrating your love for each other in this next step in your lives together. I can't wait to get drunk together and dance the night away, as if we've never done that before...

Regardless of however many miles are between us, I will never stop being your biggest fan, your forever friend, and from now on, your bridesmaid!

Love you so much.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
