Suddenly, it's your last semester at Temple University. You must be happy, excited, and relieved, right? The time you have been working so hard towards for the past three and a half or so years has finally come. All those late nights at the tech, and the constant Starbucks drinks to keep you awake, all seem to finally show it's worth. Because in less than a few months, you will be a Temple graduate.

I am not going to go in depth about your "lasts," but I must say, you're going to have your last first day at Temple..ever. Your last syllabus week. Your last dreadful 8:00 AM. And your last, well.. everything.

What I will say, though, is that there are a few "must do's" before you finally take on life and adult. These are your last few months as a Temple student, and these are some of the things you should do before you grab that diploma in May.

1. Go to at least ONE sporting event.

2. Try all the food trucks if you haven't yet.

Number 9 at the Teppanyaki truck. The chicken sandwich at the Honey truck. The strawberry, banana, and nutella crepe from the legendary Creperie. These are all my favorites, and you should all try as many food trucks as you can, because most of them are pretty freakin' amazing.

3. See the seasonal music concert by Temple's choirs, bands, and orchestras!

These students are TALENTED AF. Going to at least one concert to appreciate the talent that Temple has to offer is something indescribable, and also would be really appreciated by Boyer students and faculty. Fun fact: most of the people who participate in these extra-curricular activities are NOT music majors. They do this on their free time, and work 2x harder just because it is something they love. How amazing is that? And let's not forget about the amazing faculty who make this all happen!

4. Eat at J&H and Morgan Hall one last time.

Okay, I know. We're all tired of the constant grilled cheese and fries, tacos, and pizza. But, hey, it is what we basically lived off of for semesters long. After this, we won't be able to eat all of this stuff anymore, and we'll have to.. wait for it... prepare our own food most of the time. And even though that sounds way better and healthier, it is nice to take a trip down memory lane to freshman orientation, and eating there for the first time. Ahhh.. those were the days.

5. Lastly, have one last road trip with your friends.

Whether it be to the OCMD on spring break, or NYC during the winter time, you must have one last get together with all your friends in celebration of graduating. How long will it be when all of you can be in the same place at the same time, without needing to think about all of the responsibilities you'll have after you graduate? Do it... Do. It.

I want to end with one last piece of advice.

For some of you, this is your last time at school in general. This is the last time you'll have those long study nights, and the last time you'll ever be in a classroom. You must take this time to appreciate the good in what Temple had offered you the past few years. It is time to reflect on the good and bad memories, for these are what made you who you are today.

Participate in all the events you possibly can, for school spirit is something you'll definitely miss later on. Appreciate your friends, especially the ones who will bring you Starbucks unexpectedly when you're cramming for finals. Tell your favorite professors "thank you" one last time, because they were the ones who helped you along the way towards your future goals.

Make your last semester as a Temple Owl worth it.

Think about it: Temple University is the place you'll be looking back at in the future and think, "Wow, them college days were LIT AF. F*** PENN STATE!!!"

Sincerely,

A fellow Temple student wishing you the best on your last semester

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
