I can't believe the time has come for all of you to leave for college. Whether its been one year or six years, I'm going to miss you all so much. Despite my summer being littered with goodbyes and going-away parties, I can't help but still giggle at our funny memories. Like the times when you were probably forced to drive me around because I didn't have a license. Or when we made a fast bond over food, and have been inseparable ever since. Every memory of ours together is forever in the back of my head, and you have each had a strong influence over me.
My "freshman year" seniors: Freshman year was really, really tough for me. You all made it a lot easier to adapt. Between friend problems or boy drama, I always had someone to message when I was feeling down. Our goodbyes were one of the hardest, because I wasn't used to saying goodbye to close friends like you. I'm so lucky to have people like you to call and rant to, and even more lucky to have found myself in people so accomplished. Soon, you will be my "freshman year" seniors again, which simultaneously scares me and excites me. I can't wait to see you all in December (and yes, I'll make food again!).
My "sophomore year" seniors: My sophomore year was a jumble of incredible feats and true curses. I was stressed beyond belief, but I was lucky enough to have found people to help me cope with that. The scariest moment was having a panic attack and not knowing how to handle it, but each of you helped me and made me smile and laugh my way through it. Always having someone to call when things go south is the most comforting feeling, and each of you gave me a shoulder to cry on. Some of you went on to become my sisters, and that is something I will never forget.
My "junior year" seniors: Your class is my ride-or-die senior class. Maybe it is because I have been in school with you the longest, or maybe it was because you all eased my worries and made the (theoretically) worst year of high school a little bit more bearable. I was lucky enough to travel across the world with some of you, and being in another country with a major language barrier brought us so much closer. You are each extremely talented, and I'm so excited to see what my best friends are about to do. You are the friends that I am looking forward to seeing most (so please hurry home).
Hopefully, I keep in touch with every one of you, because each of you have impacted me in a very important way. Its going to be a long year without each of you, but I can't wait to be reunited in May. Also, don't forget to give me your school addresses so I can send you food and presents!
Love,
Your "baby" Senior Friend
