According to "Grey's Anatomy," everyone has a "person," someone they could tell absolutely anything to. Fortunately, I have many people like that in my life, and I am so incredibly thankful for them.
To my people,
You know way too much about me, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I know that sometimes my life seems dramatic, but instead of shutting me out and thinking I'm weird, you patiently listen (and probably eat popcorn). I would be so lost without all of you in my life, and that's because you all helped me become the person I am today.
There were so many long nights of talking, venting, ranting, and laughing that I can't even count them all. All of you have helped me learn that I can't change the past--and I shouldn't want to-- because the past made me who I am today.
I hope that I have done something great for you all, too. I hope I have been the light at the end of the tunnel, your backbone, or your support system, just like you all have for me. I hope I made you laugh so hard you cried, or sat there when you cried, or was just a friend to you when things got tough.
Thank you for knowing my favorite movie and asking if we can watch it when you know I need it most. Thanks for just being weird and knowing when to make a joke out of something, or when to keep things serious. I really don't know what I have done to deserve people like you all in my life.
The great thing about you all is the loyalty, love, and kindness that you all bring to my life. I really don't understand how I can be blessed with such amazing and unique individuals who all bring different things into my life. It has been such a great experience going through life with all of you.
I know I rant a lot (even about great things), but thanks for listening to every word that I say, even if it is repetitive. I am not perfect at all, but I am happy, and I owe that to all of you. Thanks for making me a stronger and better person. I can't wait to go through life's ups and downs with all of you for the years to come.
Love,
Your person
