To The Next Man Who Holds My Heart,

First of all, hello. How are you? I hope you are doing well. I want you to know I’m thinking about you and all the amazing moments we will share and all the love I will give to you. There are some things about me that you should know before we get to know each other. I want to share my personality with you and other things that are important to me.

The most basic thing about me is that I am Christian. I love God and I try to live in a way that represents Him. I spend my summers doing Bible studies with my roommate, and I sing for the worship team at my college. My hope for us is that we will help each other grow spiritually and become the best versions of ourselves that we can be.

I chose a career path that may cause some hardships for us. I want to work in the music industry, and that may keep us apart at times. I need you to support me, though. Yes, in the music industry, it is very likely that I may get “hit on” by other men, but I need you to trust me and know that I would never let that hurt our relationship. Even when we are apart for a month or even longer, know that you will always be on my mind.

I care very deeply about everyone that I meet, which means I will care for you with all my heart and love you so genuinely. I want to be someone you are never afraid to talk to. I want to bring you little presents when I see you, visit you at work, and take you out to dinner sometimes. I will respect you and be gentle with you. I never want to hurt you.

Communication is so important to me. I need someone who is willing to talk about any issues that come up, great or small, no matter how uncomfortable it may be to talk about them. I need you to be honest with me and know that I will do my very best to be honest with you. In past relationships, I have tried to put off some emotions I felt and tried to pretend that everything was okay when, in fact, it was not. I want to let you know that I have improved so much and am not hiding my emotions hardly as much. However, it is something that I am still working on, so if you can be patient with me and help me through this, I will be so appreciative.

I’m a bit of a nerd and super goofy. I want someone who I can be goofy with and let down all of my walls. I want someone I can lounge on the couch playing video games with. I hope you can appreciate the little things I am nerdy about and share what you are nerdy about too!
