You are not supposed to be alone.
It is when you are the weakest.
You will feel it.
When you wake up and,
You are greeted with "good afternoon".
Everybody already showered,
And ate,
And went to class,
And ate again.
You ask about breakfast;
It’s dinner.
Pajamas, T-shirt, sweatshirt
You are ready for the day.
Go to class.
You still don’t eat.
You tell yourself to fall asleep early
But look at the time.
This used to be easy.
Don’t binge watch shows.
Don’t play video games.
Do homework, go to sleep, wake up on time, repeat.
...want to go get breakfast?
“4:05 PM”
You just won’t eat.
You tell yourself tomorrow is the day but,
You wake up at five in the afternoon.
It angers you,
That you cannot follow your own rules.
In bed by nine,
Wake up at eight.
Workout more.
You have a crush.
She has no reason to look at you.
It’s time to impress her
And to get up.
You’re sleeping again.
You never have morals
You always have the ideas but,
Never follow through.
You need a calendar;
Library, go, then clean, follow it
You’ve done it,
You can do it.
You need help now,
They were your motivation.
Check the weather,
Be ready for classes, be on top of laundry
Fold your clothes, and get more detergent
This was a poem,
Now it became a to-do list because,
Alone,
You don’t know how to be functional.
You are a potato.
Until there is somebody new.
