The iPhone X, in my opinion, is a spectacular phone with a first-ever-in-iPhone breathtaking OLED display, but the notch at the top, Face ID problems, and steep price have kept people away from buying it. Plus, the iPhone X has a back made of glass, similar to the iPhone 4, but to repair it: $549. That's half the phone cost to replace the back of the phone. So, Apple is looking to mitigate these problems in the upcoming year. Now that the iPhone X craze has finally died down, everyone is looking to next year's products for more. Apple is rumored to release three new phones, which I will dive into now.
Note: The names have not been released yet, so I made up my own.
1. iPhone XI
Apple is supposedly releasing another iPhone next year, with the same dimensions (5.8") as this year's iPhone X. However, this is supposed to be a new-and-improved version of the iPhone X, hopefully with a smaller notch and better features? Anyways, we'll see what happens.
2. iPhone X Plus? iPhone XL?
Apple is also rumored to release a bigger version of the iPhone X (6.5"), that will probably exceed the current price mark. The phone should be like every other plus version of previous phones. Why would you need an even better screen size? Leave that to Apple to convince you.
3. iPhone X Minus (Worse but Cheaper iPhone X)
Apple's last release should be a slightly bigger phone than the iPhone X, with a similar design; however, it should go back to the traditional LCD screen seen in previous iPhones, making the cost significantly cheaper. A sacrifice in display quality is likely worth it, though. The price is hopefully going to be around $700 (Keep your finger's crossed!).
