With Christmas being less than a week away, we struggle to find the perfect gift for those hard to shop for people. Between work, end of school exams, and other time-consuming commitments, we often shop at the last minute to finish off our shopping list. I know for me finding gifts is difficult when family members tell you what they don't want instead of what they do. I've come up with a list to help the last minute shopper with ways to find a quick, easy and successful find.
1. Subscription Box
GiphySubscription boxes have become a popular trend over the last few years. The joy of opening a box has never been more exciting then when you don't know what's in it, yet is tailored to the subscribers' personal needs, wants and likes. Many different types of boxes exist which makes it easy to find something for everyone. Subscriptions can vary from baked goods, healthy snacks, snacks from around the world and meats to toys, beauty, clothes and artisan goods. These boxes make great gifts for loved ones who don't know exactly what they want but have a general idea or for those who are looking to explore and try something new. It can be a short commitment that if desired can be extended. Another nice thing about subscription boxes is that there are often times multiple different size options allowing you to stay within your budget.
2. Bottle of Wine

While giving a bottle of wine isn't a practical or appropriate gift for everyone, to some, it is a nice gesture that you are trying to find something nice. Any wine connoisseur would also appreciate trying different kinds of wine.
What's nice about wine is that you don't have to spend a lot of money for a nice bottle. There are plenty of reasonably priced and are just as good, if not better than the expensive bottles.
This is my go-to Christmas gift for my grandmother. She loves tasting different wines from around the world as well as finding exotic flavors.
***Please note this gift is only a suggestion for those who are 21 and over. I am not condoning underage drinking/possession.
3. Groupon
Groupon
What many young adults may not be aware of is a website called Groupon. This site has millions of different offers from vacations to concerts to skin care to spas to restaurants and more. What I really like about Groupon is that you can find just about anything and it can be reasonably priced. You could treat your parents to a nice dinner for a fraction of the price if you were to buy a gift certificate directly. In addition to vouchers, they sell a variety of actual products. Phone docks, face masks, suitcases, tool sets, and more can be shipped straight to your door and is ready for gift giving.
4. Streaming Service
Streaming services
Giving the gift of Spotify, Netflix, Hulu, Apple Music, etc is the perfect gift for that sibling or college student in your life. Streaming services these days are changing the way we watch television and listen to music. While CDs, DVDs and Mp3's arent obsolete, it gets pricy. CDs and DVDs alone could cost you $20 a pop. Then you have to make sure you have a laptop with a disc drive or compatible player. With streaming, your favorite sister can watch all the Grey's Anatomy she wants while your brother has thousands of albums at the touch of a fingertip. Services usually have deals around the holidays for those looking for the perfect gift.
