It’s officially the last four weeks of spring semester, which means two things. You’ve almost made it with minimal damage to your mental stability and sanity, and you survived another semester of the soul crushing hell that is college during spring semester! Unfortunately, you still have a ways to go until you get to summer break, and our friends at The Office know exactly how you're feeling...

1. When the professor assigns a group project and there's only a month left


2. Which means none of your group members do their share of the project

3. When the lecturer starts a new topic even though there's only 4 weeks left


4. When someone asks you to hang out but you're drowning in homework and seasonal depression


5. When going to your 10a.m. lecture is just too much effort

6. When you can't be bothered to follow classroom rules about food any longer

7. When you do the bare minimum on the group presentation and get a solid grade


8. And finally, when the professor lets you go early on the final day of classes

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
