This is it! The moment we have all been waiting for – the last week of classes. Over the semester, we have been working hard and long hours. Late nights, early mornings, coffee runs are all coming to an end this semester before finals. Although this semester may have been anything but easy for you, just think there is one more week left!

Waking up for your 8 a.m. for the last time in the semester

It may be tricky to get yourself out of bed, but remember this is the last time you will ever have to wake up early for that class.

Asking your teacher to round your grade before the finals

If you can get just a few more points, you are set to ace the class!

Saying ‘goodbye’ to your friends for the last time before the finals

A brief farewell to acknowledge the good and not so good memories from your Bio class and the horrendous labs that were expected.

Eating anything you can get your hands on to survive

It may not always be the healthiest food, but sometimes you need that bit of sugar to boost your energy!

Your roommates celebrating the final day of classes together

Tears will definitely be shed. Tears of happiness? Stress? Both.

Dressing up for the first time in the semester

That cute dress you have wanted to wear all semester but could never find the proper occasion? Might as well wear it during your last week of classes! I mean, the cold never bothered me anyway.

Leaving negative people behind

Don’t keep any negativity in your life distract you as you study for finals. That is your time to stay focused and not preoccupied with drama.

Remember, there is only one week left!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
