I am going into my senior year of college. Which is very different than going into your senior year of high school. I know that they are both the last years of education at a school that lasts four years, but they are very different.
The summer before senior year of high school, you're just excited about bossing around underclassmen and getting out of oyur parents house.
The summer before your senior year of college, you realize that this might be the last time you actually have free time. Because next summer, you likely have to have a full-time job, and probably want to get your own place.
You might be able to go on vacation, if you have the time or money to do so, and if your work allows you to take time off.
I had two jobs last summer, and realized that I might have to get used to it, because I will be working for the rest of my life.
However, this last few weeks of August was when it really hit me. I am officially done with vacations and breaks.
It's difficult to accept, but I am going to have to at this point.
