College kids get a debauched rap when it comes to their spirituality. Stereotypically, the steps are simple: first, students unpack into their dorm room and then, they immediatelythrow religious piety to the wind (in favor of hedonism, of course.) However, as a college kid myself, I found that the generalization is not always accurate. I submit the shocking statement: people in college are normal people.
Meaning, our relationships with a Higher Power cannot be covered with a blanket stereotype — some are wholeheartedly pursuing closeness with a Creator while others are just scraping by.
