The Fame and Fortune of Rock and Roll Bad Boys

The Fame and Fortune of Rock and Roll Bad Boys

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Here's my skinny on the Bad Boys of Rock.

People love to attain fame and fortune, but not everyone can handle it well.

The worst part is that people who are unable to put all that power and attention to good use, often end up screwing things up.

They either go back to square one or fall in a pit from where there is no coming back.

This often is the case with rock and roll stars.

We have made a list of five of the most successful rock stars for whom popularity did not bode well.

Ozzy Osbourne

If there was to be one name that brought heavy metal to life, it would have been Ozzy Osbourne.

With a worth of around $150 million, he was one of the most successful rock stars there have ever lived, and was always the kind of person who would get into trouble.

Other than the fact that he was addicted to drugs, Ozzy was also accused of biting the head off a dove out of sheer anger and frustration.

He was also caught urinating on a monument created to honor the deaths in Alamo-Texas.

His bad boy image made no difference to his fans though.

Keith Richards

Keith Richards was a mammoth in the world of elite guitarists, with his place in the infamous band The Rolling Stones.

However, hidden behind all that talent was a dark personality.

A journalist once went on to describe Keith as “mad, bad, and dangerous”.

In fact, Keith once took out his gun and shot a golf ball in anger after it landed in his breakfast.

He was always the bad boy.

When he was young, he was caught smuggling alcohol and was also expelled from his boy scout troop for knocking a fellow member out.

His fame didn’t take much of a hit due to his acts, though. Keith has a net worth of a staggering $340 million.

Noel Gallagher

Noel, the high flying birdman known for his eclectic style and his Blackface Fender Jaguar, was one of the brothers that performed at Oasis.

With a net worth of an estimated $6 million, and great fame to accompany it, keeping your head straight often becomes difficult.

Thus, Noel was on the news numerous times, not for his music, but for his fist fights.

One time at a Barcelona tour, the brothers couldn’t keep peace among themselves when Noel hit Liam in front of a crowd of people.

Keith Moon

Keith was one of the most famous drummers back in the day. He had a net worth of $70 million when he died.

The drummer was no stranger to trouble. Keith had been the epitome of the ‘bad boy’ tag.

At various instances, he was caught trashing hotel rooms and trying out horse tranquilizers for some reason.

Naked cake fights were also his thing.

Once out of nowhere, he decided to go back to his hotel room, pick his television, and throw it out of the window.

These were only a few of the incidents Keith Moon was involved in.

His wildness didn’t affect his career as much as it could have though.

Izzy Stradlin

Guns N’ Roses is surely among the most popular bands from the late 80s and 90s.

The impeccable guitar riffs in their songs were the art of Izzy Stradin.

The guy has a net worth of $28 million dollars. On the less bright side, Izzy was pretty hard to deal with.

For instance, he once was on a plane and wanted to use the washroom.

Growing impatient that it was occupied, he decided to take a leak, right in the galley area.

The funny part is that he did it, not because it was getting harder to hold, but because he was angry that the toilet was occupied—talk about money spoiling people!

There have been so many people during the years who haven’t been able to accommodate the success music brought them.

The above-mentioned were only among the popular few.

Lil Dicky's 'Earth' Is The Most Influential Song Of 2019, Change My Mind

And the music video may be even better.

Lil Dicky is a known musician know for his songs 'Pillow Talking' and 'Freaky Friday' featuring Chris Brown. The songs are fun silly and are very catchy. Last week, Lil Dicky released a new song titled 'Earth' featuring about 30 plus artists including Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Brendon Urie, Zac Brown Band, and many others. This song is just as enjoyable as his other songs; however, this one carries an extremely important message.

In this song, Dicky brings awareness to the condition of the Earth along with the idea of world unity. Through the inclusion of several animal species, he shows how the earth doesn't just belong to us as human, but to the animals as well. Oftentimes, the human race can be extremely selfish and forget that we do share the planet with other species who are just as important as us.

In one of his last verses, Dicky mentions the way we are harming the earth through pollution and fighting wars. This part of the song becomes more serious to emphasize the importance of this topic. In the music video, the colorful visuals turn dark and gray which can bring to attending the dying planet.

In his effort to save the earth, Dicky calls for unity among all countries and continents. Saying how all past issues are in the past and we all need to come together since we live on the same planet. With all the political issues happening on a global scale, the earth and its health are often pushed to the end of the priority list. By adding this part to the song, Dicky brings awareness of that topic back to the top.

'Earth' by Lil Dicky is the most important song of 2019. Through his creative artistry and inclusion of over 30 artists, people will notice the message of this song and hopefully begin to make changes that will impact the earth in positive ways. If you haven't watched the music video or listened to the song please do.

Earth is the only planet we have; thus, we need to show how much we love it by actually taking action to care for it.

2018 is shaping up to be a Ripper Year for Smart Casual Fashion.

As 2017 comes to a close, so do many fashion trends that have made the year genuinely memorable. We may be saying goodbye to romphims, double jeans, and everything bucket, but we’ll be welcoming in some remarkable new styles, and saying hello to some old friends.

The new year is already well set-up to bring in some exciting, colourful, and unique millennial fashion trends, for both men and women.

With many of the spring lines having been introduced, and some fascinating insights into what’s in store for summer, we already have a great idea of what 2018 is going to bring to our wardrobes.

To help you to stay ahead of the trends, and ensure your wardrobe isn’t going to let you down come the new year, we have put together 5 top styles that are going to make 2018 just as memorable as 2017. Without further ado, here’s what you should be keeping an eye out for in 2018.

Comfortable Styles with Statement Designs

One of the most significant recurring themes of the 2018 fashion trends so far is comfort. Music to the ears of many, comfort and enjoyment are both critical factors in the upcoming fashion trends.

From formal wear to casual clothing, there are plenty of designs to ensure 2018 doesn’t come down to a choice between comfort and style.

The athleisure trend won’t be a new addition to 2018, but it’s indeed set to shine, combining style with comfort, practicality, and flexibility. Along with athleisure, women can look forward to adding high-waist trousers to their wardrobe, while for men, shorts are going to be an essential fashion choice.

Keeping It Classic with Denim

There may yet be a year where the practical and diverse properties of denim are not featured in the top fashion trends, but 2018 certainly isn’t going to be the first. However, that’s not to say 2018 is going to be the same as 2017 – far from it.

For spring and summer, polished denim is going to be a must-have wardrobe addition for women. The latest collections have revealed a tailored denim transformation since it last featured in the top fashion trends. For men, 2018 is going to be all about straight cut jeans, either with a narrow or wide cut.

Red Is Here to Stay

Amongst the flurry of colour in 2017, there was one colour that was a standout addition – red.

Red dresses have featured on many a cat-walk in 2017, something set to continue throughout 2018. Whether it’s the Simone Pérèle Contoured Amour Bra or a Bandana Square Scarf from Saint Laurent, the trend is vibrant, bold, and with a dash of elegance.

The trend is going back to the classic style in 2018, with plain block red dresses predicted to be a particularly hot addition to your wardrobe.

Combining a classic cut with an elegant finish will create a statement wardrobe piece, with no harm done if the vibrant colour makes its way onto some of your other chosen pieces for the new year.

Set-Up to be a Very Hot Year

While the winter months are set to be especially cold, many of the top 2018 fashion trends are established to ensure you stay perfectly warm, and on trend concurrently. This sense of warmth and comfort has been extended to a large part of your wardrobe, for both men and women.

Men can look forward to stocking their wardrobe with knitted jumpers featuring classic patterns and timeless colours. Millennial women, alternatively, will have a vast selection of layered dresses and coats to choose from.

Trench coats and parkas are set to be essential coat styles, while oversized and multi-layer dresses are also a must-have wardrobe addition.

A Brand-New Burst of Colour

Perhaps the most anticipated area of fashion trends, the top colour choices of 2018 are set to be fantastic. In many areas, bold, vibrant, and eye-catching is still very much on trend, with the additional touch of shine and sparkle to make a bigger statement.

For spring, sorbet colours are going to be vital for the perfect wardrobe, with the addition of some elegant, classic floral prints. The colour explosion is also making its way to shoes and coats for 2018, with vibrant shades and statement designs set to be a popular choice.

As the designers are sticking to what they know, and what we love for 2018, it’s the perfect time to do the same. One thing is certain – 2018 is going to be a great year for millennial fashion.
