We're All Just People, So Let's Get Along

You exist, I exist, let's not have a rift over nothing.

We're All Just People, So Let's Get Along
Preservation Of Moments

I've said this many times, but our current world is a crazy place, and it's only getting crazier.

Our world is full of many people from many places. We've been through wars. We've been through racism. We've been through discrimination. We've been through disrespect. Negativity is not getting us anywhere.

We're all just people in the same universe, and we're all just trying to exist. This seems to be overlooked by so many people. We all have the same basic needs in life, and this by no means makes us identical, but we are equal.

Where we come from, who we are, what we do, is exclusive to us. Deep down, we all have to work and eat and sleep like everybody else. We're just people. The judgments we receive are a reflection of those who judge us, not a reflection of us.

People need to find a problem. People need to make a situation. If these people took the same amount of effort and put it into finding themselves, the world would be better off. If you notice, I very easily could've been negative and made a death threat to people I don't know, but that's pointless. Threatening people doesn't help; it just creates fear.

We have to make things better instead of worse. We have to be positive with one another. We have to raise each other up instead of bringing each other down. We need to be positive. Remember this, being positive makes you feel better. Being negative makes you feel worse.

We are people. We exist. We're all just figuring everything out. Don't drive yourself crazy because more likely than not; we're all dealing with the same things. Let's not be so hard on one another. Help people with problems instead of creating them.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
