I can not count the number of times that I have been kicked out of a frat party simply because I am a guy.
At first, this seemed like backward logic to me, but it all started to kick in. They let all girls in and only a few guys because they wanted all the girls to themselves. Obviously, this makes sense, but this still aggravates me because I get ready to party for the night and then I end up walking back home alone.
I will never forget the time that I was kicked out of a Halloween costume frat party as all of my friends looked at me with concerning eyes and shrugs because there was nothing they could do. I walked all the way home in my yellow rain jacket and clown makeup trudging along with my red balloon dragging behind.
Frat bros need to be more inclusive and not be so selfish. Even if they were to let a few more guys in, there would still be a larger portion of girls than guys in the party. You can't hook up with every girl at the party. Just saying.
Some people come back with the line of "well most will let you in if you can name 5 frat bros in the fraternity" They can't even name five guys in their own fraternity let alone little ol' freshman me who just got here.
Also, don't let me into your party and then scream at me and all of my friends to get out.
WHY WOULD YOU LET US IN THE PARTY, IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU DIDN'T WANT US THERE?
Just spare me the embarrassment and just kick me out in the front door.
I really feel like if frat bros were more accepting of the people they let in, their parties would be 10 times better.
