Say What You Want But The Jussie Smollet Case Is A Hate Crime Against Trump

The alleged attack on Jussie Smollett has been all over the news as of late, when the story first broke, it was called a hate crime, and Smollett was telling his story of how he was walking near his apartment around 2 a.m. attacked by two mask men yelling racial and homophobic slurs poured bleach on him, and put a noose around his neck, and yelled "This Is MAGA country".

And he said that they were white men but he also said they were wearing masks. He has gone on 'Good Morning America' with his story, the Chicago PD had arrested 2 men that we're seeing on video, but the two men were not white and were Nigerian.

The attack comes one week after a threating letter was sent to the actor, that arrived at the Fox studios. where the show "Empire" is filmed, the letter again had Homophobic death threats against the actor he said the envelope read MAGA, Which most people relate to President Trump.

But now the police have shifted the investigation on to Smollett himself, for setting up the attack and hiring the two men, one of the men even had a spot on his show.

If this is true and he did set this up this whole hate crime just to point fingers at Trump supporters and the President, is this how far people will go to have their views and opinions heard?

Not every Trump supporter is racist or homophobic. These fake crimes are going to far. If this is true that means people are going to have a hard time believing people who are attacked by a hate crime. This is just like the boy who cried wolf. no one believed him when it actually happened.

When this was first reported, it said Smollett didn't call the police he called a friend who then called the police, and when they showed up at his residence he was still wearing the noose around his neck, who does that if he was attacked he should have gone straight to the police and reported it not back to his apartment.

The police released the video of the two men walking, but the attack was never caught on tape, in his interviews, he keeps to his story, but the two men say otherwise, they were brought in for questing but were released without being charged. and new evidence was given to the detectives.

They told the detectives that Smollett paid them to participate in the attack, they told them about the rope and said it was purchased at a nearby hardware store, and once they searched their apartment rope, masks and bleach were found. as of the 19th of February, the brothers are expected to testify, this could lead to Smollett's indictment.

There were reports that Smollett did this because the letter didn't get enough attention, so he planned this whole thing. So if this was all fabricated, shouldn't he be charged with a hate crime against Trump supporter and the President?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
