Thoughts Before Junior Year Of College As Told By 'Friends'

With there being merely one week left before summer over, and Junior year waiting patiently in the distance, I cannot help but be bombarded with thoughts of mere panic. Junior year seems like the "do or die" year in college-knowing all of my decisions this year with most definitely have an impact on my future in the upcoming years. While I sit here having a quarter-life crisis, why not express how we all really feel about Junior year through the most relatable individuals out there; our most beloved f.r.i.e.n.d.s.

1. Reading syllabi before class got us like...

2. When your friends go on and on about the easy classes they have this semester.

3. When your professors begin emailing you saying "hope you all did some reading over the summer". I'm sorry to say...but no, no we didn't.

4. Thinking about all the sleepless nights that await you spent in the library.

5. To the people YOU KNOW are going to steal your parking spots.

6. Totally ready to spend 99% of my time taking bubble baths.

7. Convincing yourself you'll power through this year!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

You have no patience for the guy who can't back his trailer into the water right.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.

You have no problem with peeing in the water.

You know the frustration of getting your anchor stuck.

2. I am not just a number at my school.
