Jeep Girl Must Haves

Seven things every Jeep girl needs.

I may not have a Jeep of my own yet, but I’ve grown up loving Jeeps (as seen in last week’s article “Why Everybody Needs A Jeep Ride”), so I’d like to believe that I am a “Jeep girl." Here’s some must have items for every Jeep girl.

1. A Jeep

So obviously, if you’re going to be a Jeep girl, you might want to get a Jeep. I’m still working on getting my own.

2. JEEPHER Sweatshirt

Everyone knows that Jeep rides can get chilly, especially in the fall or at night. A Jeep girl can stay warm with any old sweatshirt, but why not wear a JEEPHER sweatshirt to match your Jeep.

3. “Jeep Hair Don’t Care” Tank Top

Jeep rides on a nice sunny day can be a good time to work on your tan with a “Jeep Hair Don’t Care” tank top. What better way to tell someone that you don’t care about your crazy Jeep hair than on your shirt?

4. “Life Is Good” Jeep Hat

If you have longer hair like me, your hair goes crazy in the Jeep. I’ve tried ponytails, braids and headbands but my favorite Jeep must have is a hat. This may contradict with No. 3 and the whole “Jeep Hair Don’t Care” motto, but sometimes, you do care. And this jeep hat is super cute!

5. Leather Jeep Key Chain

If you’ve already purchased your Jeep, you’re going to need a cute key chain. There’s hundreds of options out there, but this one is my personal favorite.

6. “Jeep Life” Decal

This decal is similar to the popular “Salt Life” decals, but perfect for any Jeep lovers (I bought the one pictured here, for my dad, on Etsy).

7. Barbie Jeep Decal

Personally, I LOVE this Jeep decal. It’s definitely on my wish list for my first Jeep!

8. Jeep Spare Tire Cover

Jeeps are fun because there are so many ways to personalize them and make them your own. Spare tire covers, like this one, are a great way to show your personality and make your Jeep stand out.

9. A Yeti With A Jeep Monogram Decal

Yeti Cups are great because they can keep your drink cold for 20+ hours (trust me, I tested it with a friend); adding a monogram Jeep sticker to your Yeti makes it even cooler!

10. American Flag Jeep Sun Screen Top

Show your patriotic side while cruising in your Jeep with this American flag sunscreen top. This top, or ones similar to it, allow you to feel the wind blowing through your hair, while also protecting you from the sun.

11. "Jeep Fund" Jar

Jeep girls, as you can see from my list, need a lot of cool accessories to show their love for Jeeps; you might want to order a "Jeep Fund" jar to help you save up (a LOT) of money.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
