Jarrid Wilson, an inspiring pastor, author, and blogger, as well as husband and dad of two, spreads the love of Jesus daily. Jesus has surely gifted Wilson and he pours out his gifts with every chance he gets by selflessly being an example of God's love.

On Wilson's blog, which you can find here, are several articles full of encouraging truth.

“When we pursue after the hope of Jesus, we are pursuing life to the fullest extent—the only true experience of life that really exists" ... "Let us choose to pick up our crosses daily, pursue after the hope of Jesus, and dedicate our lives to making much of Him and nothing of ourselves.” - "If You're Not Chasing Jesus, You're Chasing Death."

“We must learn to rest, to press pause, and to give ourselves opportunities to be refueled by the love and grace of Jesus” - "The Beauty Of Rest And Slowing Down."

As I previously mentioned, Wilson's blog is full of truth. Keep in mind, the truth isn't always what we want to hear, but instead what we need. " If one really believes that everything happens for a reason, then one has to also ask themselves whether or not they believe God would have his hand in circumstances and actions contrary to that of his Word and character. He states, in his article Why Christians Should Stop Saying "Everything Happens For A Reason."

If you are a parent (or even soon-to-be), Jarrid Wilson's blog is for you, too. Being a dad of two boys, one preciously new to the world, he spills his knowledge of parenthood. In his post 9 Things I Will Teach My Kids About God, Wilson uses his experiences with the world and with the Lord to educate and help his boys. He also shows that there will never be a perfect way to do things, and there will never be a perfect way to parent. We are far from perfect. But we have a God who is.

Wilson has successfully written books such as Jesus Swagger, Wondrous Pursuit and a 30 Day Devotional.

Jarrid Wilson is not only an example of Christ but an example of the people we need more of in the world.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
