It seems like now you need college for everything. The college has become more of a common route for people, so it's expected for people to assume that you're going. However, maybe college wasn't the path for you. Perhaps you already have a job or the one you want doesn't require a traditional college. That is perfectly okay.
There is an automatic correlation between intelligence and college. However, the two simply don't go hand and hand. First off, intelligence shouldn't be measured by your path in life. It's easy to say that doctors are smart and plumbers are not. Or, Harvard students are brighter than those who go to technical school.
Those assumptions should end because intelligence is about what kind of person you are. If you choose to make a good choice over a bad one, then that is a Smart move. If you are a person who pushes through the day with determination, patience, and love then you must have intelligence.
It takes a smart person to live a good, happy life. There are people who attend the college that make poor decisions daily. Just the fact that they go to college doesn't necessarily mean they're intelligent. So, next time you're feeling "dumb", don't. As long as you're making the right choices, you've got plenty of smartness.
When people think of a fulfilling life, usually college is included. It seems like the typical college experience is required, but it's not. It's okay if you don't go to college football games and share a tiny dorm room with a roommate. Skipping out on that part of life doesn't make your life any less. All it means is that you'll have a different experience to share.
Whatever job you choose, it's the right one if it feels right. Even though it doesn't require a bachelor's degree, it's still important and necessary. The world would go upside down if everyone became doctors and lawyers. Every single job is significant for this world to function. Your part is necessary. Don't ever feel insignificant if you don't choose a college.
