As I grow up I have learned some things, now I am not going to sit here and tell you I know everything because as my parents like to say your only nineteen and have yet to even start to live my life and really I know nothing. Here is something that I have learned over my nineteen years of living it is okay to ask for help. This is something that has always been a hard concept for me to grasp, I don't like the idea of asking others for help. It bothers me when I can't do something for my self and need to ask someone for help. I am sure there are people just like me that have trouble asking for help, I understand I know, but sometimes you can't do it all by your self. I have learned sometimes the hard way that asking for the help that you need is much easier then not asking at all. If you need help on something it does not mean you failed in doing a certain task it just means that you are growing and need a little guidance along the way. I have learned from my parents and from others around me that most of the time one person can't do a certain task by themselves you know the saying it takes an army well yeah it does sometimes. Thats okay if it does, the point I am trying to make here is this it is okay to ask for help. In fact it is a blessing to ask for help. It shows that you are at least trying to make something happen. If you are willing to ask questions that means your willing to learn and with learning comes growing and growing makes you a better person. Moral of the story is this ask question and ask for help, there is a reason why there are millions of people on this earth and it so you can ask somebody for help and so you don't have to do all alone.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
