13 Times 'The IT Crowd' Nailed College Life

Life isn't easy in college--and "The IT Crowd" knows it.

Lately, I've been getting a little too deep into 'The It Crowd,' a show that honestly resonates with me on a spiritual level. Two awkward nerds and a woman faking it until she makes it? Honestly iconic. And there's definitely plenty of moments that resonate with me as a fellow awkward nerd just trying to make it through college.

1. When your life's falling apart slowly but you just keep going about your business

You gotta do what you gotta do, and you gotta ignore what you gotta ignore.

2. And then when what you're doing is falling apart too

One more essay? With multiple research articles? That's...that's fine.

3. When you leave your dorm in the morning after a long night of studying/partying/Netflix binging

Hey, the sun is cruel. We all know this.

4. When your squad is awkward and doesn't know how to deal with social situations

There's a reason I don't regularly go to parties. And this is it.

5. When you have to get up for your 8 a.m. and someone tries to be social before you've woken up

Mornings just aren't easy.

6. When your computer crashes and you have to submit something online in the next hour

Listen, computer. Take a moment and think about what you've done while I cry over the fact that my discussion board won't get done.

7. When the "Freshman Fifteen" hits too hard

Honestly? Who has the time?

8. When your presentation in front of the class goes totally wrong

Hey, my life's falling apart, this might as well too.

9. When all your classes have big essays due and high-stakes tests at the same time

And sometimes it isn't even finals week. What fresh hell is this?

10. When you've stayed up too late getting things done and you're tired and emotional

Just don't talk to me about anything if I have less than four hours of sleep.

11. When your professor asks you to do pretty much anything online-based and you're too awkward to ask for help

Listen, I'm awkward. So I fake it till I make it.

12. When you're so dead inside you couldn't care less about the imminent embrace of death

Did someone say: finals week?

13. But finally...you finally get confident and decide you're gonna get s**t done.

College can get crazy, but ultimately you're gonna get through it with that degree! Hang in there!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
