The trajectory towards disaster becomes refined yet again upon the resignation of the legend of evasion, also sometimes known as the White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.

What happened?

Spicer resigned on Friday following a denouncing of the selection of President Trump’s Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci. This leads to yet another addition to the series of scandals and controversial changes that have plagued the current presidential administration. With yet another series of internal disagreements about the decisions regarding the election of the officials for the president’s administration, this adds to the turbulence present in the day to day operations of the presidency.

This resignation marks an interesting perspective in the presidency that has already been apparent to the general public for the entirety of the presidency. The responsibility placed on Spicer throughout the presidency had more to do with attempting to justify the remarks and actions of the president that require justification, which generally include his more controversial statements. Such statements are readily available for you to read, and to access them you simply have to go to the president’s Twitter account.

The election of a loyalist is nothing foreign, but lack of information amongst the administration regarding appointments certainly is. Anonymous sources have reported that Reince Priebus, the White House Chief of Staff, was apparently not informed of the appointment until the information was made readily available to the public. Such variance was made further significant upon the discovery that Jared Kushner had condemned the performance and the work of Mr. Priebus, which virtually adds to the internal conflicts that are potentially not present to the public.

What does this mean?

As aforementioned, internal conflict in any administration is common yet troublesome, but it becomes considerably notable when it is in context of a presidency. The lack of cooperation in the presidency sends a troublesome message, however, as it indicates turmoil in the administration. It also marks a hindrance in the delivery of the promises made by the president, as well as the passing of policies expected of the executive branch. Such an impression plants seeds of doubt in the general population, a concept that has virtually become synonymous with the current administration.

The lack of approval within the administration and constant resignations based on the president’s actions also show simply how difficult President Trump is to work with. His perspective displays the idea that he does not require a spokesperson to properly communicate with the American public, but rather he simply requires someone to justify and provide an explanation for everything he says. Such a perspective only provides the perception that the president is almost like a petulant teenager who merely requires a caretaker to make sure he is not too far out of line.

With a child in the seat of presidency, the country is yet again falling towards the hypothetical disaster we imagined upon Trump’s successful election.

Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
