This year it will by 5 years since the last episode of One Tree Hill aired. Even after all these years, I haven't forgotten all the lessons it taught me. One of my favorite characters was Brooke Davis because of her charisma and confidence.

Here are some of her best, most inspirational quotes in my opinion!

1. “Brooke Davis is gonna change the world someday." - Her confidence in herself to do something that matters is great. It inspires me to be the best that I can be and to have a goal in life.

2. “Don’t cry because it’s over. Relish the happiness it gave because it happened.” - Events, moments, and memories are truly a gift and mourning the end isn't always the best way to go. Always celebrate and cherish the good times.

3. “You can’t change it, but you can fix it.” - Brooke Davis had lots of ups and downs in her life, but she didn't let it effect her attitude. She remained strong and gave us all great advice, just because you can't change what happened doesn't mean there isn't a a way to fix it.

4. "I do what I do, and I like what I like and that's just who I am." - She isn't afraid of being herself no matter what others have to say about her. Her self-confidence is truly inspiring.

5. "People are going to label you. It's how you overcome those labels, that's what matters." - I love this quote because she expresses the truth. Other people will talk even when you don't give them anything to talk about. Letting others get to you will only make you seem weak, so move past it with dignity or succumb to their beliefs and their words.

6. "I wanted you to fight for me. I wanted to be someone worth fighting for." - This is one of the saddest quotes of all time. It's sad because regardless of her self-confidence, love hurt her.

7. "If you had a friend you knew you'd never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don't wait -- nothing lasts forever." - This quote really opened my eyes because it's ultimately the truth. It makes you realize that you never know when you're going to lose someone you love. Make everyday worth it and make sure to show your loved ones you care.

8. "Life kicks you around, sometimes. It scares you and it beats you up, but there's a day when you realize that you're not just a survivor -- you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything it throws your way." - Again, very inspirational because she is positive and knows she can get through anything. Her enthusiasm remained strong throughout the show especially when she went through tough moments in her life.

If you haven't watched One Tree Hill, it's definitely worth watching. It was a feel good show with lots of drama and romance as well as some sports (for the guys). Brooke Davis was my favorite female lead because she never gave up on herself and rarely ever let anything get in her way!
