I Prefer Shopping At A Store Instead Of Online

It can be beneficial to the economy, especially if you're buying from local businesses.

I love shopping. I don't shop as much as I used to, but I still enjoy it when I do. There's nothing like going to a store and finding something that you love.

In one of my classes, we talked about how the mall is declining for several reasons, but one of the main ones is because of the ease of online shopping. I do have to admit, online shopping is pretty great. I can browse multiple stores at a time from the comfort of my bed while I'm wrapped like a burrito in my blanket. It's great. But there have been several times I bought something online and then after waiting a week (sometimes even more) the item finally came, but it didn't fit quite right, or it looked absolutely hideous on me.

This is one of the many downfalls of online shopping. How will I know if it fits, or if it even looks good on me? I have to wait for it to be shipped to me, and then I can finally try it on. And then if it doesn't fit, or it doesn't look good, I have to send it back and get the right size or just return it in general. That's too much effort!

Why buy something if you don't know if it fits or if it looks good on your body? I don't know about you, but I'm very particular about the jeans or pants that I get. They have to fit just right because of my thighs. I love my thighs, but if I'm not careful about the jeans I pick, my thighs look gross or I look stumpier than I already am!

The other weekend I went shopping for a pair of white jeans. A very simple jean that should be easy to pick out. I went online to look at what stores had and there were a lot of pairs that I liked, but thank goodness I went to the actual store and tried them on because they were too tight around my thighs but so loose around my hips!

After some shopping around at different stores at the mall, I finally found a pair that I liked!

I like going to a store and trying things on. It's even more fun if you go with a friend and model the clothes that you found. Like what a fun activity to do on a Saturday afternoon.

I think looking at what stores have online is a good thing so that you have a general idea of what you might want or need, but you should go to that store or the mall to actually buy it. This way you can try it on to see if it fits and looks good, and then you can bring it right home after purchasing it! There's no wait, and you know you're paying for something that you 100% approve.

Bring shopping back to the mall and stores. It can be beneficial to the economy, especially if you're buying from local businesses. You can socialize with friends while shopping and make memories. But most importantly, you'll be happier with your purchases.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
