"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." — James 5:16
I'm praying for you. I'm praying that you find pure happiness and joy in everything you seek to do. I'm not praying for you because you asked me to; I'm doing it because it's the right thing to do. It's the Godly thing to do.
Praying for you doesn't automatically make me a better person, and it's not going to change everything in a day, but it helps. It helps to know that someone is thinking of you. It's not something you expect, but it is something that I hope you can appreciate.
I'm probably the last person you would expect to hear this from, and I know that. We don't talk anymore for various reasons, but no matter what, I'll never wish upset into your life. I hope for the best and pray that everything is going exactly how you want it to.
I pray that you are happy and that you know how loved you are. By God, your friends, your family, your sorority sisters and everyone in between. I pray that you experience great bliss and pure joy. I pray that your days be filled with sunshine and warmth. I pray that you get to experience amazing friendships that are filled with even better memories.
Even though I have no clue whether or not you'll ever read this, I hope you realize that this is all true. We don't talk, but maybe a mutual friend will share this. Maybe it will be exactly what you need, maybe not. Just remember that you are so strong and you can handle anything God puts into your path. You'll defeat the stress and heartache; something beautiful is right around the corner waiting for you.
Sincerely, an old friend
