You know, as we finish college; we're getting older. Nah, I'm serious; listen to me now. Remember when we were little and that we wanted to be like the grown-ups? Well, not anymore! We are now stressing out about the fact of us not being a twenty-something-year-old, and we are almost to that point! We are working and slaving away to pay our bills and we're not even 40. Things are changing even when we don't want them to change. Kids have been born less than 5 years from now. Anyways, here is how to know that you're getting old.
1. When you realize how tiring a 9-5 shift can be.
Especially when working with kids. Man, I am so drained.
2. When you have that talk with the parents and they say "One day, we won't be providing for you..."
Uhhhhh, please don't, Mom and Dad. Just kidding, I know.
3. When kids around you were born in 2012.
Holy mackerel, they don't know what "That's So Raven" is?!
4. When you realize that it's been seven years since you started high school.
Wow, what are my high school friends doing right now?
5. When your friend's sibling you used to babysit is REALLY hot now.
Man, I feel like a cougar right now...
6. When you start getting sick more.
As we get older, we get sick more because our energy is being sucked away from us.
7. When you kind of start to miss school.
Ahhh, that wonderful school routine. Loved it, hated it, and now kind of miss it.
8. When you start going to the bar instead of college parties.
Dude, crazy right? We're becoming more so like adults.
9. When you realize you can't really do anything without the money you earn yourself.
Damn, I need a better job to fund my adventures now...
10. When you have to cook with your crockpot so that you don't die of hunger.
Ugh, so hard to motivate myself to doing such tasks.
11. When you start getting more sad leaving our pets at home when going to work.
I mean, look at that sad face. It guts me when my dog makes that face at me when I leave for work.
12. When celebrities from your childhood are dying.
May the galaxy protect us in the future for we are going into a new year.
