As spring break comes rolling around the corner some of us might have plans to go out and others might have plans to just catch up o school work. Whatever your case is, how about treating yourself a little bit?

I remember back when I was in middle school I would sometimes get manicures with my mom and I loved them so much. Not only because it was a bonding experience but because my nails would look SO nice and pretty afterwards. The only downside to the manicures that my 12 year old self would get was that I would get them with just gel polish. One of the positives of gel polish is that if done correctly, it will last you up to two weeks. That's right guys, TWO weeks. No more having chipped nails the next day because you washed dishes.

Gel is also convenient if you are a busy body. Gone are the days where you have to wait 30+ minutes for your nails to dry. With gel, you cure them under a UV light and in less than a minute they are hard as a rock. Having gel polish dry and harden like this will help you get on your way to whatever you were doing without having to worry about them smudging as soon as you reach into your purse for your car keys.

Gel polishes come in SO many colors. Whether you are into cute colors, bright colors that POP, or dark winter tones, there is a color that was made just fo you. In addition to having all of the colors, depending on your nail tech you can get different designs on your nails to spice up your look

Now that it is spring break, find yourself your gal pals or your momma and treat yourself to some pretty nails! They'll last you the entire spring break and above all, you deserve it!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
