The banality and loneliness of life,
It hits her, listening to a song,
Reading a book,
Laying in bed while no one else is awake.
The world collapses, and what happens?
She didn't get to tell you she loved you,
She's loved you forever,
She'll love you forever.
Who would she lie with,
As the world collapses?
Who would she lie with if she didn't live?
If she robbed herself of a life?
But, she still won't tell you.
Pride, or worry, whatever it may be.
She still won't tell you that she loves you,
Even if she were the only one awake,
Even if the world was ending,
Even in the banality and loneliness of life.
