With just about nine months to go, the race for Presidency is already underway and growing more competitive as each day passes. By the time of elections in November of 2016, more than 3/4ths of college students will be eligible to cast their votes for the first time in their lives for someone they wish to be President. Before you inherit Mom and Dad’s political views for this next election, take a moment and research for yourself what you want in a future president, because this man/women will impact the way you find jobs, pay your taxes, and possibly what kind of education your kids will have. With upcoming debates, tensions might rise and people might get a little heated. So to take a break from talking about budgets and issues, here is what sororities our presidential candidates would be in if they went through recruitment:
Jeb Bush
Pi Beta Phi
Jeb Bush was born to be a legacy. With his brother previously in the {White} house, Jeb is sure to follow in his footsteps. He’s seen how much George has impacted the community as a whole and has grown in his service. Because of his determination and desire to help the world, he would be a perfect Pi Phi.
Hillary Clinton
Gamma Phi Beta
Hillary has a fight in her like no other. She is smart, independent, and knows exactly what she wants in life. She would be a Gamma Phi because she is so easy to talk to and can relate to anyone.
Ben Carson
Chi Omega
Although less talkative than most candidates, Ben Carson is wise beyond his years. He has so much real life experience that perfectly prepares him for the presidency. Chi Omegas will go far not only in their career but in life.
Chris Christie
Kappa Alpha Theta
Chris Christie recognizes the nation's problems and he is 100 percent ready to fix them. His charisma and relatable approach have gotten him this far so he is sure to follow through. Chris would be a Theta because Theta’s make things happen and get things done. They know what real sisterhood is all about and will do anything to protect the people they love.
Ted Cruz
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Ted would be the perfect Kappa because he is very logical and would not make promises that he couldn’t keep. He knows what the nation needs and sees a practical way of meeting those needs.
Bernie Sanders
Kappa Delta
Bernie is passionate about what he does. He makes a point to have real communication between him and the American people. Bernie would be a Kappa Delta because of his love an empathy towards every person.
Marco Rubio
Delta Delta Delta
Although very young, Marco is a natural born leader and excels in public speaking and debates. He would be a Tri-Delt because he is optimistic, likes to be challenged, and at 43 has more experience than most career politicians.
Martin O’Malley
Delta Gamma
Martin is the type of person that you want to be your friend. He is easy-going, charming, and reassuring. He would be a Alpha Phi because if he was president his ambition would reflect onto his job.
Carly Fiorina
Zeta Tau Alpha
Being the only women running on the republican side, Carly is not afraid to get out of her comfort zone. She is her own person and isn’t afraid to speak her mind about pressing issues. She would be a Zeta because she values friendship and fights for what she wants.
Donald Trump
No Answer
Because Donald is a risk-taker and very bold, he would probably just start his own sorority.
