If you attended college in Florida you know the fun booze-infused times that describe the treasured collegiate memories we so cherish. Here are the drinks of choice which countless nights with friends have created meaning in each of the Florida niches.

1. University of Miami- Dom Perignon

UM's diverse students enjoy spending their Friday nights at the hottest Miami spots. Just like this champagne, University of Miami students have class and they know how to party. Whether it's nights spend at LIV or Story, it would not be complete without Dom Perignon bottle service with sparklers.

2. University of Florida- Bud Light

Athletic events in Gainesville need three things: orange, blue, and beer. Whether you're shotgunning it or casual sipping, UF is just as chill as a cool Bud Light at a midsummer tailgate or a go-to at any of their few bars in Midtown. Loving UF is just as easy as loving a nice Bud Light, it doesn't cost as much as something stronger, but it does the trick.

3. Florida State University- Y-Bomb

Nothing describes FSU more than pouring boatloads of vodka into a highly caffeinated energy drink to get through at poppin' night at Coliseum. If Y-bombs are your drink of choice you are a hardcore Seminole at heart. That fun-loving spirit you won't forget, unlike some Tally nights.

4. Florida Atlantic University- Bourbon Old Fashioned

Surrounded by some beautiful Lauderdale beaches, FAU is a great spot to reside at during spring break. As for the rest of the year, the town is mostly home to retirees, older folk, and, of course, FAU students.

5. Florida Gulf Coast University- Pina Colada

We aren't sure if attending the beach or class is more important to a FGCU student, but we are sure their life is as easy goin' as a Pina Colada. Life just doesn't get much better than this.

6. Florida International University- Modelo

With their excellent business programs, you can get a good degree with Latin influence. As refreshing as a Modelo with lime, so are the familiar Miami native faces you'll find walking around FIU. Even an FIU student happens to transfer to one of the aforementioned school they will always have a little Panther in them.

7. Miami Dade College- Natty Light

Dade is cheap and gets the job done. Miami Dade is similarly respected like Natural Light for its consistency and low price for the benefit of a commendable degree or to get the right amount of tipsy at a party.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
