The Gallagher family and college majors are more similar than one may think. How? Well, both, contain very diverse, crazy components: the members of the family, and the ongoing list of majors. That being said, The Gallaghers match up pretty well with popular college majors. Let's see who would be who...
1. Fiona - Nursing
Fiona's always there to save the day, no matter which Gallagher kid gets into trouble. She is constantly dealing with the pressure of keeping the family safe and satisfied. She's the caretaker and the one that everyone trusts, just as nurses are.
2. Frank - Political Science
It's Frank's way or the highway. Got something to argue about? Frank will gladly battle you. Like political science majors, he isn't easily swayed by others. I wouldn't doubt if he tried to start his own political party, either...
3. Lip - Computer Engineering
It's quite obvious that Lip's got the brains in the family. He's always hacking and calculating. Hand him any device, and Lip will know exactly how it functions.
4. Carl - Criminal Justice (with a theater minor)
Carl could quite possibly be half spy, and if he's not, he's sure good at acting as one. Whatever role he needs to play to be able to uncover different information, he will play it.
5. Debbie - Communication
She's always articulate and could have a very intellectual conversation with a brick wall. Debbie finds the good in everyone, and no matter what age, gender, race, income or background, she will talk to them about anything and everything.
6. Ian - Exercise Science
He continuously works his hardest to be in the best shape for the military. Surely, he could easily put this dedication and self-discipline towards helping others with their own physical health!
The Gallaghers are possibly the most discombobulated family on television, yet each of them still offers different traits that would match (somewhat) perfectly with different college majors. (And yes, I know, Liam is missing. I'm not too far in and he's still a baby, so I have yet to tell. Maybe he will be biology? Social work? Who knows.)
