One of the most important decisions to make is choosing what to major in while attending college. Your major will determine what college you attend, how long you are required to go to school, what classes you will take, and what career you could potentially have once you have earned your degree. Your college major is crucial because it sets you on a path for the rest of your life, so you must be careful when picking one because you want to enjoy the time you will spend studying and eventually applying whatever field you are involved with in the real world. You know what else is a super important aspect of your life? Breakfast! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so you want to be sure never to skip it. The options for breakfast foods are endless, just as how the number of college majors are overwhelming. All of the diverse choices for breakfast are unique and not for everybody, paralleling the insurmountable amount of areas to specialize in during college. Below you will find 20 college majors and their correlating breakfast foods.

1. Engineering: French toast sticks

You probably build little houses out of the French toast sticks before eating them because your mind is always thinking of how things go together or how to create novel plans.

2. Women's Studies: Granola

As a healthy, powerful crunch, granola is a groundbreaking breakfast choice as it is a modern twist on regular, old-fashioned cereal.

3. Art: Yogurt parfait

Yogurt parfaits are the art major's favorite breakfast choice because of the beautiful layers of fruit, yogurt, and granola. The possibilities for aesthetically pleasing creations are endless!

4. Political Science: Oatmeal

Oatmeal is an acquired taste just like having an interest in understanding systems of government, political activity, and the behaviors of politicians are only appealing to a select group of individuals.

5. History: Hard boiled egg

History buffs are just about as ordinary as a hard boiled egg.

6. English: Fruit salad

What initially seems like a simple breakfast, turns out to actually be full of several different flavors. English majors can relate all too well with this notion that their major is super simple; however, there are lots of underlying themes, symbols, plot twists, value assumptions, and character developments that you are responsible for finding and interpreting that are not as simple as one may think.

7. Biology: Scrambled eggs

What came first: the chicken or the egg? You are often pondering these deep existential questions that help absolve the world's ignorance to the way nature operates in studying biology.

8. Psychology: Omelette

Psych majors know how to uncover what is going on inside the minds of people. Omelette eating emulates the same process of digging deep into somebody's head: on the outside, everyone looks like a plain egg, but on the inside, stuck within the cheese, are surprise ingredients that are unique aspects to the personalities of people.

9. Mathematics: Waffles

You count each of the quadrilateral boxes on the face of the waffle prior to filling them with sweet syrup and attempting to calculate the volume that the waffle can hold.

10. Business: Bacon

Business majors keep the world turning; they are a necessary component to the economy just as how bacon is a staple breakfast side.

11. Chemistry: Sunny side up egg

Chemistry majors are primarily intrigued with the process of cooking the egg sunny side up style. Watching the raw egg transform based on the addition of a heat source is what you do.

12. Dance: Breakfast Burrito

Breakfast burritos are tight wraps of interesting ingredients that provide energy all throughout the day. Dance majors are also packages of energy, interesting abilities and emotions that allow them to entertain for hours at a time.

13. Liberal Studies: Sausage gravy

Sausage gravy is a mixture of ingredients that, when combined, create a savory dish. A Liberal Studies student takes a diverse range of courses that include areas of humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and the arts that, when completed, allows the student to have knowledge in a variety of subjects and perspectives to carry them through life.

14. Tourism, Leisure, and Event Planning: English muffin

You understand what it takes to turn something that appears to be ordinary into a huge selling point of interest. English muffins may seem like they are just another slice of bread, but they are unique and can be used with any type of spread depending on what you are in the mood for. This is related to the tourism major's ability to sell any attraction in the area and assist in the planning of somebody's vacation based on the desires of the visitor.

15. Sociology: Cereal

Sociology majors have to know all of the aspects that are factored into human social relationships. There are hundreds of differences between cereals, some that are more geared toward adults and some that are for children. Either way, you must be aware of all the intricate differences between them in order to know what choice to make.

16. Education: Bagel

Bagels are the education major's saving grace because they are easy to grab and make in the morning before racing to the classroom. Plus, bagel flavors are endless and you can dress them up with a wide variety of different toppings; you will never get bored with this breakfast giving you the energy you need to survive teaching five days a week.

17. Criminal Justice: Doughnut

Biting into a doughnut can be a surprise; sometimes you think you know what you're getting into, but it turns out that you were completely wrong as the doughnut was filled with A LOT more than you had expected.

18. Nursing: Pancake

Pancakes are a warm and sweet comfort food that can ease any pain...just like the superpowers of a nurse.

19. Communications: Crepes

Quite the process to prepare, but once the crepes are completed, the finished products are appealing to everybody.

20. Sports Management: Smoothie

You are always on the road, so smoothies are a cool and quick breakfast choice that you can slurp down while going.
