If you’re reading this article looking for a future best friend, or simply to look at photos of cute animals, you have come to the right place. These animals are looking for their forever home, and hopefully before the holidays. Before I introduce the animals, here is everything you need to know before adoption such as adoption fees and applications. Also, here is HSCI office viewing hours, address, and phone number.

1. Arizona - Tabby Cat

Arizona is a four-year-old Tabby Cat who loves attention. She is calm but is always willing to play.

2. Sirius Black - Domestic Shorthair

Sirius Black... what a name! Sirius is one-year-old. If you love petting cats, Sirius is the cat for you. He will take a head scratch any day!

3. Sophie - Pitbull Mix

Sophie is such a sweetie. She is known as "the gentle giant". She can even "sit" on command!

4. Jasper - Lab Mix

If you're looking for a dog who loves to play, Jasper is the dog for you! He's only two-years-old, with a ton of energy.

5. Sunshine - Tabby Cat

Sunshine is the perfect name for this talkative, one-year-old tabby cat. Sunshine also makes the perfect cuddle buddy.

6. Alexis - Medium-hair Tortoiseshell

This pretty girl is only one-year-old. If you give her gentle pets, she will be your best friend!

7. Brando - Pointer Mix

Brando is a one-year-old Pointer mix. He's very energetic, playful, and loves to eat treats. Just look at that tail wag!

8. Candy - Redbone Mix

This one-year-old sweet girl is more than playful. She is affectionate and just needs a home. She will require leash training.

9. Joselyn - Domestic Shorthair

Joselyn is a ten-year-old quite, but affectionate cat. She is very sweet and is always looking for someone to give her the time of day. She just wants a forever home.

10. Bunny - Tabby

Don't let the name deceive you! Bunny is a one-year-old tabby cat. She loves to climb and is mild-mannered.

11. Ollie - Pit Bull

Ollie is a one-year-old pit bull. He can sit on command and loves everyone that he meets. Ollie needs a home that can give him the attention and love that he deserves!

12. Sammy - Heeler

At two-years-old, Sammy is very active. A good home for this sweet girl would be a place that could keep her busy --staff note that she is "very much a cattle dog". She also knows how to sit!

13. Waikiki - Domestic Shorthair

This goofy cat is just one-year-old. Waikiki is a loving, cuddly cat who is a little shy.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
