This past spring, my family got a Hulu membership. While I have always been a die-hard Netflix supporter and watcher, I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, I was hooked. Six shows later and I haven't even opened Netflix except for the occasional episode of "The Office."
While it's honestly a little sad to say that I've watched almost seven shows within a span of maybe four months, it was totally worth it.
1. Perfect for a stormy summer day spent under the covers: "The Handmaids Tale"
This futuristic horror show has left fans stunned season and season again. Moving onto three seasons, this show is sure to waste time and leave you wanting more.
2. When you're craving drama and romance with a touch of suspense: "Big Little Lies"
The ULTIMATE summer drama. Jam-packed with affairs, million-dollar houses on the beach, abusive husbands, and murder, this show is sure to hook you from the start.
3. Something to throw on when you're cleaning your room and want to be entertained: "Keeping Up With The Kardashians"
While there's a shit ton of drama and fights in this show, none of it is really that believable. This one's perfect to throw on if you're not planning on paying too much attention but want a good laugh.
4. When you want to be scared out of your mind: "American Horror Story"
With seven terrifying seasons to choose from, this will leave you sleeping with the lights on. My favorite season is "Asylum."
5. When you are nostalgic: "Full House"
Yes. You heard it here. Eight seasons of childhood memories are just one subscription away. Proceed with caution, though, because once you start, it's almost impossible to stop.
6. When you're in the mood for something... out there: "Euphoria"
Starring Zendaya, this show follows a 17-year-old drug addict who tries to manage her way through high school. With a super complicated storyline and lots of lies and drama, this one will keep you on your toes.
