What if I told you that there was a way that you could wear an authentic piece of the world on you, while giving back to it at the same time?

If you're passionate about traveling and/or giving back to international causes, then let me introduce you to Serengetee.

Serengetee is a unique type of clothing brand. Their mission is to support artisans and causes around the world. It was founded by two guys who met on the Semester at Sea study abroad program. During Semester at Sea, students live and study on a boat and travel to as many as 12 different countries in 100 days. While the founders were traveling, they started collecting fabrics from Asia, Central America and Africa and that's where it all began.

According to Serengetee:

"By purchasing fabric from over 25 countries, we support artisans, their families and ancient fabric making traditions. And, by giving back 10 percent of our profits to a diverse range of grassroots causes, we work to improve lives in their communities. The stories of these fabric makers and causes are baked into every product we make, so when you wear Serengetee you are truly wearing a piece of the world."

Currently Serengetee supports over 30 grassroot causes around the world in countries including Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, South Pacific, Central America, USA and Canada. Each product on the site is made with specially designed fabric from the locals of each country.

Additionally, this brand is all about getting people to "Travel More." Once a person travels, something happens inside their mind and heart -- their hearts expand, people become more empathetic for their global neighbors across the world, their minds open and perspective shifts.

Think about it: with this brand, you could be wearing a shirt made with fabric from Peru, a hat made with fabric from Brazil and a handbag made with fabric from Japan -- all while supporting and giving back to three different causes around the world with your purchases.

They often have flash sales and great discounts too! For example, in honor of the Fourth of July, you could get anything in the store for 50 percent off! While it's a great cause and mission, the clothes themselves are extremely soft, comfortable and of great quality! My Serengetees are some of my favorite clothing articles in my closet.

I encourage you to at least check out the site. You may find a fabric print you really like, a country you'd love to support or an international cause that really resonates with you that you'd like to give back to through purchasing a Serengetee product. I'd love to see everywhere "Wear the World" and "Travel More."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
