If you have been an owner of a retail shop and have been in the retail business for years, you must be aware of the importance of good packaging design. A quality product is undoubtedly essential, but it needs a lot of support when it comes to product packaging. Impressive and attention-grabbing designs are required to thrive in this cut-throat business, so every business owner looks into every small detail.

Brand owners know that they need to design product boxes in unique ways to stand out among the crowd. Usually, customers make a purchasing decision in a matter of a few minutes, and even though there are lots of similar products, they will go for the most creative packaging. Here are some ways in which you can make your packaging visual to attract customers.

1. Keep it simple.

Simplicity can turn out to be a perfect way to design a custom printed box. You will be surprised to know that subtle and straightforward packaging designs can sometimes win more hearts than a lavish packaging. If the customer can't read the box's necessary details, they will be frustrated. It will just take a minute to move on to a different brand, and you can never gain back the lost customers.

Custom printed and packaging designs need to be useful in increasing your products' sales when you have printed valuable details on it. If you own a food brand, you need to be even more careful as health freaks will not settle for low quality. Marketing boxes packaging will give your brand a lot of recognition, and it is the right way of promotion too.

2. Choose colors to enhance the shelf impact.

Bright and innovative colors will help you improve the shelf impact and attract a high range of customers. If you make sure to stick to the palette while choosing a color, it will help a lot. Choose colors that can define your brand and are loved by your targeted customers. The colors should be used reasonably, or excessive mixing will destroy the outlook of cardboard packaging boxes wholesale.

If you study color psychology, it will help you appropriately choose colors. If you plan to ship products internationally, you have to make shipping boxes with good quality material, or else your product can be damaged during transport.

3. Make your product packaging functional.

If the packaging design is easy to use, it will get instant fame among customers, and if it offers distinctive branding, the chances of success are even higher. If you are handling an E-commerce business, you need to be sure that customized shipping boxes can hold big, delicate, small and fragile items with efficiency. When the product reaches the customer safely, they feel secure and respect towards your brand increases.

The corrugated shipping boxes can carry heavy items, and if you are shifting to a new house, these boxes will be handy. They share their experience with fellow customers, and the right word of mouth can be an excellent promotional tool. You can use windows, die cuts, inserts and dividers to create your customized cardboard boxes and make them more functional. You can pack a variety of items in cardboard boxes, and the handles on the top will make them easy to hold.

4. Make your product packaging aesthetically pleasing.

Being a retailer, you should be aware that no customer will like dull and boring packaging designs. Box manufacturers Chicago are knowledgeable enough, and they are bringing good quality designs and boxes to cater to the needs of customers.

You can have many options, and the designers can work creatively with the shape, colors, fonts and patterns on carton boxes and custom small boxes. Innovative elements and ideas can inspire customers in a lot of ways. If you are selling juice, you can use a box cut into the shape of an orange, and that will surely stand out on the retail shelf.

5. Identify how your products are sold.

The next important step is the positioning and branding of the products. You have to keep the targeted customer group in mind and consider their feedback from time to time. If you discover and put in some effort to find out what is failing a product packaging to reach the top, it will help you. If your rivals are failing to meet the new customers' demands, you can exploit them by giving them something innovative.

Paper boxes and banker boxes look very appealing, and the best thing is that you can pack a variety of products inside, and it will ensure safety. If you are selling products in the shop, people will get a chance to touch and feel it, which isn't the case if you sell them online.

Up until last week, I always had a major. I was an international business major, finance major, psych major on the pre-medicine track… and now (finally) I am exactly where I should have been when I started college: undecided. I think there is too much pressure as a high school student to have a designated path about what you want to study, be when you 'grow up' and essentially spend the rest of your life doing. As an 18-year-old, I really feel like I tried to pin myself down to a major so that I had a set path to follow and something to look towards. This is probably very conventional and I know tons of people at school who have their minds made up about what they want to study.

Life Is Messy

I am 25 years old and just now learning who I am. When I separated from my husband I was terrified of what would follow. I did not know who I was outside of a relationship, nor did I know how to be on my own. It was scary, and I was so lost. I spent months discovering who I was, and what I wanted to be. I am still searching as I believe we never truly know who we are even when we "grow up". I came to the realization that I had been hiding a part of myself for my entire life. Coming out was not easy, growing up in the church made it scary, and hard. I was told growing up that being anything but straight was such a sin, and that i would spent my life in hell because of it. I came out to my parents when I was 25 years old. I picked up the phone and called my mom, and uttered the words "I'm queer" through tears. I knew my parents would be supportive, but that didn't make it any easier for me to vulnerable and raw. Since then, I have slowly started being more authentic in who I am, and not hide parts of me just because of people's shitty opinions.

Alone At The Met

I survive a day alone in NYC.

It was six in the evening. I was sitting in the courtyard of a Renaissance-era Italian villa, glancing around at the statues, most notably one of a boy removing a thorn from his foot. Despite the supposedly relaxing setting, I was incredibly anxious. My phone was at less than 5 percent battery, and once it died I would be completely disconnected from my family and peers, alone in one of the largest art museums in the country.
